Bora is a compact car from FAW, a German automaker. It is the fourth generation of the Volkswagen Jetta, which is one of the most popular and best-selling models of the brand. The name Bora comes from a wind that blows from the Adriatic Sea to Greece, Russia, and Turkey in winter. The car was launched in 1998 in Europe, and in 1999 in China, where it is produced by FAW.



The FAW Bora offers both gasoline and plug-in hybrid versions, with a range of 11.28-15.98 yuan for the former and 18.68-24.68 yuan for the latter. The car has eight variants, with different engine, transmission, and configuration options.
